Q: My friend was just a kid when he got cancer and died. If God is real, why does he let kids die?A: It is difficult to always see God’s hand in our lives, especially when we go through very hard times. Man does not always know God’s purpose for events and circumstances. God has a plan for the world, and he allows horrible things to happen. Yet, he does not make them happen. However, we have a promise of eternal life, and even though it is so hard to see children die, we know that they are happy with Our Lord in heaven.
